about Kirlian photography

Kirlian Photography - from what I have read, I still don't fully understand what is being measured and displayed in terms of physics - electrical activity that cascades out and gets picked up and documented by the equipment? It seems that the photography captures something that is not seeable by our naked eye, or by any of our physical senses. And from many of the examples, it seems that it is stronger at places, or in people, where there is a cultural agreement that the energetic quality is stronger or concentrated - like an acupuncture point or someone known as having psychic powers. And also, in moments that are more "charged", like when two people kiss, or when certain intense emotions are felt. I draw the conclusion that these things in our current time that we feel might be pretend, or imaginary, or "magical" or "mystical", are just things that we don't know how to sense or understand - and that if we only had the right framework, equipment, technology, or sensitivity, we would be able to feel them quite easily.
